"AoV of Zomato’s QC business is Rs 522. Greater than its food delivery business." That one input changes so much understanding of the usecases of QC.

?? High AOV, impulse categories are playing any role? Are those marquee viral-thread-creating consumer goods product really selling in big numbers and helping here?

Its possible. As folks are getting more comfortable, there are use cases apart from just ordering your "aloo pyaaz." I know folks who have ordered towels, bathroom curtains, and even electric kettles from Blinkit. While phones / Xbox etc are still a ways away, that AoV sweet spot for QC is growing, which is probably why a lot of QC apps are experimenting with selling books / kindle / and even toys on their app!

Interesting. Was talking to some folks around these stats. One insight I heard was that a single's meal is sub 200 typically, but a single's grocery spend is not that. Even the evening use-case of colddrinks, chips etc is ends up increasing the basket size.
